SchoolSparrow We provide an equitable public K-12 school rating system that tells more truth about each school's impact on student performance.

The popular school ratings that are ubiquitous on all the real estate search portals are biased. The tend to give high ratings to schools where parents have high incomes, and they unfairly underrate schools where parents have diverse or moderate to low incomes. This is because the single most influential factor that determines standardized test scores (a major factor in the ratings) is SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS, not the quality of the school. Our rating system factors in economic data for every school, and we identify the schools that are truly making a difference and doing an excellent job of educating students.
