We are 1 of the 17 legal aid organizations to be awarded an LSC Pro Bono Innovation Fund grant to support our Housing Opportunity and Pro Bono Exchange (Project HOPE) project, which will leverage volunteers to reduce the number of eviction judgments in Southeast Los Angeles County and Orange County.

Thank you, Legal Services Corporation for helping to increase housing stability in SoCal.

Celebrating 65 years of ✨ justice ✨ with Andrew Deeley, Supervising Attorney

In honor of our 65th birthday, we asked our staff what they want their legacy at CLA SoCal to be. Andrew's legacy will be laying the foundation of an effective, efficient, and proactive Consumer Defense Unit.

💬"I want the CLA SoCal name to put fear into unscrupulous debt buyers. When they see we are representing the defendant they will know they are up against a determined and capable foe." 👏🎉

She is inspiring ✨ she is accomplished 🏆 and she is our executive director 🙌

Congratulations to Kate Marr on her LA Times OC Inspirational Women nomination.

As the executive director of Community Legal Aid SoCal since 2017, Kate has overseen significant growth with revenue increasing from $8.5M to over $15.7M and staff growing from 90 to 139. Marr’s vision led to a complete rebranding and restructuring of CLA SoCal’s legal program, resulting in expanded free legal services for low-income residents.

Called for request a divorce attorney after spend a long time on the phone put on hold then she tells me they can’t help me then I asked her why she said she cant tell me really 👊🏽👿
I will put this office under question and file a complaint and discrimination id this how you work ?
I know this office for the last 4 years and they are always very professional and helpful until recently her name is jerry and she is at the Tustin office today was my second time that I was unfortunate to get her .
She is cold rude she does not listen she ask question then when am answering her question she rudely cut me off her attitude and behavior is not professional makes me frustrated and she accused me of yelling at her first treat people the way you want to be treated so there fore the treatment you got was a reflection of how you behaved and attitude turds me .
👎🏻😈
Please help with some advice. A tow truck driver overcharged us to the tune of $2500 for a 13 mile tow this mother's day evening. This tow usually only costs $250. Thinking it was an error we contacted the driver who told us that was his price and there was nothing we could do. We only have his name and phone number because he subcontracted from the original company we called.
I look towards to appear to Court next week and have legal aid on my side like they did before. They do a great job. Thank you for your services

On their phone answering machine they say to go to their website and fill out a form to assist them in responding. I went to every page on their website. NO form anywhere! What a waste of my time!
I called you and the recording states you can apply online at the website but I can't find anywhere on your site to do this. It just gives tells you to call. Am I not seeing something?
My name is Trong Xuan Nguyen, and the reason that I am posting this information because I need some advice about something. Am I right or wrong about this situation, on July 27, 2017 I started to work at Conmed Company but was hired by Kelly Services Agency. However, when I started to work with pay rate at 21.11, and I worked there about 2 weeks, after that they ended my assignment there. About 2 weeks later after my assignment ended, they send me email and letter told me to pay back for 167.08 because they said my pay rate was just 18 dollars something. They reduced my pay rate from 21.11 to 18.47. During 2 weeks that I worked there, they still pay me for 21.11. Now, they send me more letter and threat me something if I don't pay back amount 167.08. All I want to ask is Kelly Services do this is a right thing or wrong. Thank you very much. And how can I sue them if they threat me about this. And should I pay back for them or bring it to justice.
