Over these next six days, I need you to do something for me. I want you all to reach out to at least five people in your life who haven’t voted yet and have a conversation. Tell them how important it is to vote — that every single vote adds up — and that we can’t afford to have anyone sit out this election. Tell them why you’re concerned about the idea of another Trump presidency. Tell them about Kamala Harris and how she will fight for our rights, our country, and our future.

I want to remind you — YOU are the best person to convince the people in your life that voting matters in this election, and you can’t forget that. We need to have these conversations now with our siblings, parents, friends, neighbors — everyone we know — before it’s too late.

MAINTAINING FREEDOM IN OUR CLASSROOMS:

Piccione Law Firm is totally against Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry’s new law, now in effect, that places the Ten Commandments in every Louisiana public school classroom. The first such law in the United States.

Lawyers that know the law (not all do), know that under the United States Constitution, this law is definitely unconstitutional, but with our “rouge” U.S. Supreme Court which has shown its erratic and dangerous behavior with recent questionable decisions, who knows.

In this country we have long maintained a separation between Church and State, which is a pillow of our freedom. Despite what the lawyers of this firm may believe and despite what our leaders may believe, not all Americans believe in God, and that needs to be respected in a free society. The Ten Commandments in a classroom of young developing minds is a slap in the face to parents who may believe and teach their children otherwise. We will join our colleagues in definitely fighting this injustice through the courts, because if we allow such an injustice to stand, other injustices will most definitely follow and many of our freedoms could be lost. We have clients and friends on both sides of the Israel and Hamas (Palestinian) Conflict. This is not a true conflict between the people of Israel and the people of Palestine, it’s a conflict between Israel and Hamas (the leadership of the Palestinian people). Hamas is a horrible group who is not only a danger to the people of Israel, but it is a danger to its own people (the people of Palestine). There have always been conflicts in the Middle East from before the time of Christ and unfortunately there will always be conflicts. It is not impossible for the people of these conflicts to live in Peace, but it is impossible when you have inhumane groups like Hamas interject their hatred in the mix. Hamas, not the people of Palestinian, inhumanly attacked Israel this past week and Israel has every right to eliminate Hamas and free the people of Palestine. Unfortunately, by Hamas using its own people as human shields, many innocent Palestinians will be in harms way and will suffer the ultimate sacrifice. Let us all Pray for the people of both Israel and Palestine while Israel attempts to eliminate Hamas. Piccione Law Firm
