Sometimes we get so caught up in what we’re praying for next that we forget to thank God for what we already have.

The clients who trust us. The freedom to build something of our own. The deals that work out, the ones that don’t, and the people who become so much more than clients along the way.

Real estate has taught me that success isn’t just about closings or numbers. It’s about relationships, serving people well, and trusting God even in the slower seasons.

I’m still learning to appreciate the little things and remember that some of the things I have today are things I once prayed for.

If you’re in a season of waiting, growing, or wondering when things will finally fall into place, take a minute to look around. Sometimes the very things we’re asking God for are already showing up in our everyday lives, quietly reminding us just how blessed we really are.

Can we talk about how good these Florida fall evenings are? 77 degrees, no humidity, a T-shirt and shorts, and the prettiest golden evening light. Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this.

One of my favorite things about living in Freeport, Florida, is getting outside in the evenings and actually enjoying the weather. No heavy coats, no snow, no freezing temperatures. Just beautiful sunsets, comfortable evening walks, and that golden light that makes you want to stay outside a little longer.

Living along the Emerald Coast means you get the best of the outdoors, with the beaches of 30A, the charm of Santa Rosa Beach, and the slower pace of life that makes this area so special.

And honestly, these are the little everyday moments that make you fall in love with where you live.

It’s been such a busy month of closings, and honestly, my heart is so full. ❤️ I feel incredibly lucky to have the clients I do. Getting to be a small part of such a big moment in someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted. Helping people find a place to call home, start a new chapter, and make memories of their own is what makes this job so special to me.

Sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that this is really my job, and I get to do this every day. I’m so grateful for the trust my clients put in me and for every person who allows me to be part of their journey. These relationships mean so much more to me than just buying or selling a house. 🤍

We honestly thought we might lose water during or after our first Category 3 hurricane in Freeport, Florida, but we were shocked that we had running water the entire time! We even had enough for quick, hot showers during our 48 hours without power.

We filled our bathtubs ahead of time so we could flush the toilets, and let me tell you, that was a good call! It felt SO good to drain those tubs afterward knowing we never actually had to use that water. Definitely something we’ll do again next time still.

One thing we are SO thankful for? Our generator! If you live in Freeport or anywhere along the Emerald Coast and don’t have one yet, put it on your list. It was a lifesaver.

Hurricane season will teach you a few things you didn’t know you needed to know, and we’re already making our list for next time!

Also, what are your favorite generators? We’re looking at upgrading to a Jackery solar-powered generator. Does anyone have one they love? I’d love to hear how it held up during a hurricane!
