On Friday, April 3rd (or Thursday, April 2nd for students/school staff), the Bon Homme County State's Attorney's Office and Bon Homme County Child Protection Team invite everyone to WEAR BLUE to kick off Child Abuse Awareness Month. 👔👗🧢🥿 Let's turn our towns blue to show support for our most vulnerable. Child abuse & neglect does affect Bon Homme County and ignoring it is not a solution.

The Bon Homme County State Attorney’s Office sends its deepest condolences to the handler and family of PSD Drago and to the South Dakota Highway Patrol as a whole.

Back in 2021, PSD Drago assisted law enforcement in locating the weapon used in a triple homicide in Scotland which was incredibly important and highly appreciated.

Rest in peace, Drago. Thank you for your years of service and for all you did to protect the people of South Dakota.

Police Service Dog - End of Watch

With great sadness Police Service Dog Drago was laid to rest today due to serious health issues. He was a cherished member of our law enforcement community.

Drago you will be missed. 🐾 🐾 🐾

SDCL 32-5-2.4 requires this annual registration and it is a Class 2 Misdemeanor if your tags are expired. The maximum penalties for a C2M are 30 days in county jail and/or $500 fine.
