Army Veteran Marcia Anderson

Did you know ▶️▶️ MASK MANDATE
You probably heard by now that today CA is removing the indoor mask mandate that has been in effect since December 15. Although this is CA-wide, be sure to check local guidance. For example, Los Angeles County is leaving its indoor mask mandate in place. For Orange County and the Inland Empire, employees who are “fully vaccinated” are not required to wear masks indoors. In the case of mask guidance “fully vaccinated” means it’s been two weeks since the employee received two doses of Moderna or Pfizer or one dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Masks continue to be required in certain settings, including healthcare, public transit, childcare, and K-12 schools, among others.
This guidance will take effect on February 16, 2022. For current Guidance for the Use of Face Masks, see the current guidance for face coverings.

Air Force Veteran Mary Smith
Smith trained as an aeromedical specialist and spent her first tour at Royal Air Force Alconbury in Huntingdon, England. In this role, she worked as a combination of emergency medical technician, nursing assistant and medical aide. After her first tour, she left active-duty service to earn a degree in nursing from the University of Iowa while she served in the Air National Guard. She returned to the Air Force in 1995 as an officer.
Today’s is Air Force Veteran Mary Smith, who served as a nurse practitioner at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

Veteran serving nonprofit highlight 👉🏼 Hidden Heroes is a program offering free respite care for caregivers assisting veterans.This program specifically helps caregivers in need of relief hours. Some of their relief services include: meals, housekeeping, transportation, exercise, companionship, mobility, medicine reminders, toileting, bathing, and grooming. Other services they provide are web series of tips and tricks, self- care and more for the military-connected community. They also offer yoga for members serving the military caregiver community.
