Due to the extreme cold and the possibility of hazardous travel, all Tuscaloosa County School System schools and offices will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. All extracurricular activities are canceled for January 26, 2026.

The forecast for late Sunday into Monday calls for extremely cold temperatures. With the amount of moisture on the ground, there is concern about ice on roads and bridges Monday, especially on less traveled roads. Safety is our top priority, and we must make the safest decision for all of students, faculty, and staff.

Please stay safe and weather aware. We will share information on Monday afternoon about plans for Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
