RIP Dodie. She lived many, many years past the terminal diagnosis given her. She gave to and served others instead of giving in to self-pity and accepting the diagnosis.

Tomorrow is 2023. Unless you are celebrating at home tonight, use Uber for transport if you plan to drink. Period.

It’s no way to start a brand new year by possibly

1) crashing your vehicle,
2) injuring yourself and/or others in your vehicle and/or other vehicles and passengers,
3) being arrested and jailed,
4) having your car impounded and incurring the associated fees,
5) paying money for bond and attorney fees,
6) having your driver’s license suspended,
7) being fired from your job for not showing up and/or for having no driver’s license,
8)having your insurance rates raised, or
9)killing yourself, leaving your family to pick up the pieces, or 10) killing someone else and having additional criminal charges against you, meaning even more attorney fees.

Sure, these are all possibilities, but do you really want to take the risk??

The new year is nearly upon us. Take time to reflect on 2022, and take action to plan for 2023. Do you have a Will or Trust? Are you prepared for where your property will go? Not something to put off for “later.”
