Two years. That's it.

In Oklahoma, you have two years from your crash date to either settle with the insurance company or get a lawsuit filed. Miss that window and you recover nothing, no matter how strong your case was.

Here's the part most people don't know: insurance companies track that clock too. Sometimes they'll keep "negotiating" with you, dragging things out, hoping the deadline passes so they never have to pay.
