GableGotwals recently hosted its Annual Chili Cook-Off, raising funds for the Tulsa Area United Way and Blue Star Mothers Oklahoma Chapter 20 in OKC.

Our Tulsa cook-off included, Vast Bank and Forvis Mazars US, making it a fun, building-wide event.

Mandatory arbitration agreements can provide a more efficient, cost-effective, and private way to resolve workplace disputes.

Chris Thrutchley, SHRM-SCP, has counseled employers on labor and employment law best practices and successfully defended employers in arbitration, litigation, and administrative proceedings across the country for more than 30 years. His experience as both Chief of the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office of Civil Rights Enforcement and an HR director for one of Tulsa's largest unionized employers gives him a unique perspective on workplace disputes.

Since 2016, Chris has served as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association's National Panel of Employment Arbitrators, where he arbitrates employment disputes nationwide.

A federal court has granted class certification in In re: Genentech, Inc., Herceptin (Trastuzumab) Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation, allowing healthcare providers nationwide to pursue claims together in a single proceeding.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma certified a nationwide class of providers who allege that Genentech sold underfilled 440 mg multi-dose vials of the cancer drug Herceptin containing less medication than labeled. The court appointed GableGotwals as class counsel.

GableGotwals filed an amicus brief with the .S. Supreme Court on behalf of former U.S. Attorneys in Kenneth J. Jouppi v. Alaska, a case addressing the Eighth Amendment’s Excessive Fines Clause.

Shareholders Trent Shores and Amelia Fogleman authored the brief, with assistance from Associates Bailey Tulloch and Tristan Reagan. The brief draws on the amici’s experience prosecuting crimes in Indian country and advocating for the protection of remote Native communities. It urges the Court to affirm the judgment of the Alaska Supreme Court.
