She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Tulsa, graduating from the college of law in 1982, and was Order of the Curule Chair. She served as an adjunct professor in the University of Tulsa’s paralegal studies program for its 20 year duration, and serves on the adjunct faculty of the Tulsa Technology Center.
