Last week on our weekly radio show with Alton Tipps, I talked about the several different colors of the sapphire! Well here’s a fun fact: all sapphires are made of corundum, the crystalline form of aluminum oxide. When the corundum is mixed with iron or titanium, it will cause it to turn different colors. But when a corundum crystal has enough chromium to be red, then that’s when it’s a ruby! That’s why there are no “red” sapphires! This yellow gold bar pendant is filled with white sapphires!!! Come see us!
