Meet the Kinghorn Law | Financial team! Jennifer Copenhaver-Celi has been working as an attorney since 2008. Born and raised in Tucson, Jenn graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Business Economics, and then graduated from James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. With a diverse background as a former prosecutor and experience in government contracts and compliance, Jenn brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Married for 19 years, she is the proud parent of three wonderfully entertaining kids and shares her home with two energetic rescue dogs and a bird. Jenn and her family enjoy soccer, swimming, hiking, and exploring new places, and they are enthusiastic supporters of their favorite sports team, Tottenham Hotspurs FC (Come On You Spurs)!

Creating a trust alone is not sufficient. To ensure it functions as intended, assets must be transferred into the trust by retitling them. If assets are not properly funded into the trust, they may still go through probate, even if a trust exists.

Alzheimer’s disease is shaped by many factors, including age, genetics, and lifestyle. While some risk factors are beyond our control, everyday choices like staying active, eating well, and keeping the mind engaged can play an important role in supporting long‑term brain health.

Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month is a good reminder that cognitive health is a key part of overall well‑being.

1️⃣ Our attorney, Jennifer Copenhaver-Celi, graduated from Greater Tucson Leadership's flagship program, Lead Tucson. The program offers an impactful and nationally recognized leadership training curriculum, providing participants with immersive field experiences on a variety of local issues. Congratulations, Jenn!

2️⃣ Kinghorn Law | Financial sponsored the 2026 Student Ethics Video Contest at the BBB of Southern Arizona Torch Awards for Ethics. Four finalists received scholarship awards for their creative responses to the theme, “What Does Trust Mean to You?”

3️⃣ Zoё Burcham, our Marketing Director, attended Oro Valley Chamber's Women in Leadership event on May 28, where the presenter shared about the power of presence. Women in Leadership supports women leaders throughout Oro Valley and Pima County and is open to professionals at all stages of their careers. Learn more about future events at orovalleychamber.com.

4️⃣ Attorney Jennifer Copenhaver-Celi presented about various Estate Planning topics at a Spotlight Senior Services' monthly networking event. Spotlight brings together businesses and professionals who work with and serve seniors across the state to improve collaboration and impact.
