If you experience cyberbullying:
• Don't engage or reply.
• Protect your privacy and personal information.
• Report and block the account.
• Save and document everything, including screenshots, messages, comments, and dates and times.
• Tell a trusted adult, such as a parent, teacher, or school counselor.

Things you say and do online are there forever. Teasing is not always as innocent as it may seem. Together, we can create a safer environment for our youth, online and offline.

A federal appeals court has ruled that Native children buried at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School cemetery must be returned to their tribal nations under federal law.

The decision came after the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska challenged the U.S. Army’s position that it could rely on its own policies rather than the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals determined that NAGPRA applies to the Army-controlled cemetery, clearing the way for the return of Native children to their communities in a culturally appropriate manner.

The case involved two Winnebago boys, Samuel Gilbert and Edward Hensley, who died while attending the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in the 1890s.

Founded in 1879, Carlisle was the first federal off-reservation Indian boarding school in the United States. More than 10,000 Native children attended the school, where they were separated from their families, languages, and cultures. More than 180 children died during the school’s operation.

The ruling also strengthens ongoing repatriation efforts. The U.S. Army has announced plans to disinter and return additional children to tribal nations and Alaska Native families beginning later this year.

For many Indigenous families, bringing children home is not only a legal issue—it is an act of healing, dignity, and cultural responsibility.

BREAKING NEWS! The TAKE IT DOWN ACT is now in effect. That means platforms such as websites and apps have 48 hours to remove intimate images shared without your consent after you report them, and they’re required to continually remove duplicates by federal law. The law applies to images and videos, real and fake, including AI-generated or “deepfake” content.

If a platform does not follow the law, you have the right to report them to the FTC, the government agency responsible for enforcing this law, at TAKEITDOWN.ftc.gov.

This is a major win for survivors and one step forward in combatting image-based sexual abuse. If you have struggled in the wake of this abuse, know that you are not alone and you deserve an expedient response when you report harm.

Platforms must do more to not only respond to this abuse, but to prevent these images from being created and spreading, shifting the onus of responsibility from survivors to perpetrators and the tech companies that facilitate this abuse.

Troopers intervene to save mother and daughter from trafficking 🚨
KINGMAN, AZ - On May 14, 2026, Highway Patrol State Troopers responded to reports from a victim being trafficked for prostitution on I-40 just outside of Kingman. According to the victim, the panderer had brought her from Nevada to Arizona, along with her 4-year-old daughter. The victim utilized Rapid SOS texting to emergency services and provided updates on their whereabouts. Troopers located the vehicle, and the panderer exited the interstate into a commercial business upon noticing police presence. The panderer was taken into custody and booked on S*x Trafficking and Pandering. The daughter was provided with a free lunch by Troopers before mom and the child were taken to a women's shelter for aid and access to services.
