I just received a great holiday surprise. I waited to say anything until he was actually home with his family and he is! My client received a parole date that was very far in the future before I was hired. I strongly believed that the Board was not aware of several important, compelling aspects of his situation. I was able to get the Board to reconsider his case and they voted to release him almost immediately and he is home with his family for Christmas! I am honored to be able to do what I do. I can't always get this result, but I can always help people have a voice in the process. Happy holidays from this little elf!

Yesterday was an amazing day. After 3 years of hard work, I was able to turn a life sentence (requiring a minimum of 30 years in prison before even being considered for future parole) into a 15 year sentence. My client will only serve 27 more months. It is a great feeling to right a wrong and get a client a much more fair sentence! I can't wait to see all of the great things he achieves.
