📣Today marks the closing of a transaction that has been nearly two years in the making. Wawa coming soon!
I had the privilege of representing the sellers of approximately 4 acres located at the corner of US 19 and New York Avenue. Throughout this process, I also had the pleasure of working alongside Matt with Matthew Development, the developer behind many Wawa convenience store locations.
What seemed like a straightforward transaction at the beginning became a journey through countless city and county approvals, permitting requirements, and unexpected challenges. At one point, the project even required acquiring additional land from a neighboring business to meet development requirements.
Deals like this are a reminder that commercial real estate is often about patience, persistence, teamwork, and problem-solving. After nearly two years of working through every hurdle, I am thrilled to see this transaction finally reach the closing table.
Most importantly, it was a true pleasure working with these sellers once again. This marks my fourth transaction with this wonderful family, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust and confidence they have placed in me over the years. Building relationships that last beyond a single transaction is one of the most rewarding parts of this business.
