July brought a 1.7% dip in U.S. existing home sales, now at an annual rate of 4.06 million. Meanwhile, the median home price reached a new high of $434,100, up 2%. Mortgage rates have edged up to 6.69%, making affordability more challenging for many buyers, and nationwide inventory continues to be tight at 1.54 million homes.
