Friday morning at the AALA 47th Annual Educational Symposium opens with four signature updates from nationally recognized experts: Environmental Law with Brigit Rollins (The National Agricultural Law Center), Food Law with Susan Schneider (University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville), Tax with Kristine Tidgren (Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation (CALT)), and Finance with Jeff Peterson (Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A.).

The agricultural law community is stronger when we learn from one another.

We're pleased to help spread the word about the newly renamed Ag and Natural Resource Law Summit, presented by Virginia Tech, West Virginia University, North Carolina State University, Penn State University, Ohio State University, and the University of Maryland.

Returning to the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, on September 22–23, the Summit brings together attorneys, academics, policymakers, students, and agricultural stakeholders for two days of practical education and networking.

Attendees can earn 570 minutes of CLE, including 60 minutes of Ethics, while exploring timely topics such as farm financial stress, agritourism, land use and zoning, water rights, Right to Farm laws, pesticide litigation, farm labor issues, and ethics in succession planning.
