Two award categories are available: Outstanding Legal Scholarship in Agricultural Law (student and professional divisions) and Excellence in Agriculture (private practice, academia, government, and non-governmental organizations). If you know an AALA member whose work deserves recognition, now is the time to put their name forward.

AALA is accepting applications for its University Group Scholarship Program through May 1, 2026.

Schools that commit to bringing 5 or more students to the AALA Annual Educational Symposium are eligible for a $2,000 scholarship to support group attendance. Up to 6 awards will be given, with priority consideration for first-time attendees and universities from underrepresented programs and communities in agricultural law.

Award decisions will be announced by mid-May.

It's never too early to share information about our favorite event of the year! Join us for the AALA 2026 Annual Educational Symposium, November 5–7 at the Fairmont Dallas in Dallas, TX.

This year’s program will feature:
