58 saves. That number caught my eye this week.

I looked at 558 homes for sale in Toms River. Out of everything we checked on Zillow, this one had 158% more saves than the average. Buyers are watching it.

50 and cloudy today, and tomorrow is the good one: 58, sunny, not a drop of rain in the forecast. That’s a house-hunting weekend if Ocean County has ever had one.

Three houses, three completely different lives. A no-stairs single-level where somebody else deals with the leaves. A Cape in one of Toms River’s quietest pockets. A Colonial in Bayville with solar on the roof and a yard for the dog.

Here’s the honest case for coming out this weekend: the people who wait until spring are guessing/hoping mortgage rates will be lower (how has that worked out for them)? Right now there’s no line at the door and sellers are paying attention. October buyers get room to think and room to choose.

It ranked #1 with 248 saves. That's 805% more than the average home on the market right now.

That kind of attention means something. Buyers are paying close attention, and this one kept rising to the top.

248 saves on Zillow. That's what caught my eye this week.

Every week I look at the homes for sale in Toms River and find the one buyers are most focused on for a home its age. This week it wasn't close. The homes we checked averaged 27 saves. This one had 248, and 2,322 views on top of that. That puts it 805% above that average. I'm calling it our Deal of the Week for the week of October 12.

I'm not going to tell you what to read into those numbers. But when that much attention points at one home, I think it's worth knowing which one it is.
