π§ HAPPY CONSTRUCTION SAFETY WEEK!
Ohio construction workers build our roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, homes and just about everything else we depend on.
They also seem to be responsible for our unofficial state flower: the orange construction barrel! π
But construction is serious business, and the risks are real.
β οΈ Falls from ladders and scaffolding.
β οΈ Injuries from heavy equipment.
β οΈ Electrical hazards.
β οΈ Back and shoulder injuries from heavy lifting.
β οΈ Slips, trips and falls around job sites.
At The Law Offices of Kurt M. Young, LLC, we've spent more than three decades helping Ohio's injured workers, including the hardworking men and women in construction.
And remember: Ohio workers' compensation is generally a no-fault system. You don't ordinarily have to prove your employer did something wrong to qualify for benefits after a compensable workplace injury.
This Construction Safety Week, we're reminding everyone:
No construction deadline is more important than getting home safely to your family.
Thank you to the people who build Ohio!
Stay safe out there! π¦Ίπ¨
