October 13 is National Day of Failure, and we're using it as an opportunity to practice what we preach: acknowledge a mistake, learn from it, and make it right.
During Disability Pride Month in July, one of our team members, Robyn, requested that Groth & Associates make a donation to The Ability Center of Greater Toledo. We loved the idea and fully intended to follow through.
Unfortunately, somewhere between good intentions and busy schedules, we dropped the ball. The donation didn't happen when it was supposed to.
So today, we're fixing that.
We're proud to support The Ability Center of Greater Toledo, an organization dedicated to advocating for people with disabilities and creating a more accessible, inclusive community.
Through its work in independent living, accessibility, advocacy, assistance dogs, and community inclusion, The Ability Center helps remove barriers and expand opportunities for people throughout Northwest Ohio.
Their work deserves recognition every month of the year, not just during Disability Pride Month.

As a criminal defense law firm, we often remind people that a mistake doesn't have to define them. What matters is taking responsibility, learning from the experience, and choosing what happens next.
Today, we're applying that same philosophy to ourselves.
We missed our original deadline, but we didn't forget why the donation mattered.
Sometimes accountability is as simple as admitting you dropped the ball and making sure you pick it back up. 💙
