This past Saturday over 20 members of the Inn and their families spent time at Second Harvest Food Bank and sorted over 7000 pounds of frozen meat. This is the third year the Inn has given back to our community by volunteering at Second Harvest. The Inn is committed to serving our local community!

Our 2025-2026 year has officially begun. Our annual Kick Off Bash at Wekiva Island was a huge sucess. Great weather, great food and great talk. We are excited for the upcoming year!

Some members of the Inn spent Friday evening at our first ever PopStroke Mini Golf Social! The weather didn’t exactly cooperate but a fun time was had by all. Always good to chat and hang out with colleagues and friends outside of a courtroom!

We wish Chief Judge Munyon all the best in her next term as Chief Judge!

We are excited to announce that the Honorable Lisa T. Munyon, the first woman to serve as Chief Judge of the Ninth, has been reelected unopposed for a third term. During her tenure, our circuit has seen the addition of judgeships, resources, and space. We can’t wait to see what this next term holds under her continued leadership and guidance. Please join us in congratulating Chief Judge Munyon!

On Saturday members of the Inn volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank. The members did some food sorting and boxed up meals for those in need throughout Central Florida. Just our way of giving back to the community and serving those who need it the most.

This morning 26 members of the George C Young Inn of Court volunteered their time at Second Harvest Food Bank sorting food and assembling boxes of food for those less fortunate in Central Florida! Thank you to all who came out.

Today members of the George C. Young Inns of Court spent the day with their families at Wekiva Island. This annual tradition of having members and their families come together for a fun day away from the courtroom and office allows the members to get to know each other a little better!
