The Hot Springs County Sheriff's Office wants to thank the Thermopolis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/ Vale Tudo for training with our deputies today. The deputies received strenuous training in standing and ground techniques. A special thank you goes out to Professor Justin Jacob's (left side), Senpai/ HSC Sheriff's Office Chaplin Brian Johnson (right side) and Sensei Michael Nelson (seated front)for their dedication and willingness to teach and train our deputies.

Sheriff Kraushaar and Deputy Lee-Crain volunteered to be splashed with (fairly cold) water for the Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser at Ralph Witters Elementary today. The students raised $10,781 toward the American Heart Association during this fundraiser. Way to go Bobcats!!!

If you are missing this card or know where it belongs please contact the Sheriff's Office either on Messenger or by calling the Office at 307-864-2622. Once the owner is verified we will be happy to return card to its owner.

The Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a scam targeting Hot Springs County citizens.

In the most recent report, a citizen was contacted by an individual claiming to be a Sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office. The caller stated that the citizen had a federal warrant for contempt of court and needed to go to the Sheriff’s Office to pay a $3,500 bond.

Please be advised that it is not the policy or standard operating procedure of the Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office to contact anyone with an active warrant by telephone, text, or email.

If you receive a similar call or message, do not share any personal information and do not click on any links. Instead, report the incident immediately to the Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office at (307) 864-2622.

Sheriff Jerimie's Pumpkin Patch is officially open! Sheriff Jerimie will be here today until 6pm, Friday from 8am-5pm, and Saturday from 8am-5pm. Please bring down your elementary school aged children to get their pumpkin.
