Don't drink and drive, take an Uber, I don't want your money that bad. But, if you have been drinking and get stopped this weekend, YOU CAN AND SHOULD REFUSE EVERY TEST, regardless of what they try to say about "no refusal" programs. To summarize:

1. They are collecting evidence from you before they even turned their lights on.

2. None of your answers are going to help you not get arrested if they think you've been drinking. Don't answer ANYTHING. When was your last drink? Where were you? When did you eat? ALL OF THIS IS USED AGAINST YOU LATER. SHUT THE F**K UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Field sobriety tests are designed to make you look like an AS***LE. Don't do them. "Hey, let me check you out so I can let you go" is a BU****IT nice guy way to get you to f**k yourself.

4. Refuse blood and breath tests. You don't need to know the details, but the breath machine is a piece of s**t, and as for getting your blood, you might as well make them (a) DO THEIR JOB and (b) protect your CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS by making them get a warrant.

5. Seriously. "No Refusal" is not a thing. Don't let them bully you into making the State's job very easy later on. There are a lot of really good prosecutors out here, and they certainly don't need to have a head start.

A great day when you can help someone get their life back on track in the morning and help another get a bulls**t arrest wiped off their record in the afternoon. I love every second of this job.
