Happy Friday! Hereโs to 16 years of being just delusional enough to keep going. ๐โค๏ธ
In 2010, I graduated from Iona and began working full-time alongside my mom in real estate. I didnโt have a grand business plan. I just kept taking classes, investing in tools, creating systems and learning how to serve our clients better.
In 2018, when my mom began preparing for retirement, I took a chance on building MoraVilla.
Over the years, we grew from individual agents into a team, expanded beyond affordable housing, hired employees, and eventually approached $500K in annual production.
Then life happened.
Cancer in the family. COVID. My sisterโs kidney failure. Divorce. Multiple surgeries. Financial hardship. Nearly losing everything Iโd spent years building.
Between 2022 and 2024, I seriously questioned whether I was meant to continue.
But thanks to God, my family, friends, mentors and a team that continued showing up, I found my way back.
In 2025, I became MoraVillaโs sole owner.
And now in 2026, weโve paid down over $20K in debt, earned recognition, expanded our partnerships, supported hundreds of families and community members, and continued building a team that serves far beyond real estate transactions.
Weโre not exactly where I want us to be yet. But weโre a LONG way from where we were. ๐๐ฝ
And the biggest lesson?
Sometimes you have to believe in a future you canโt see yet.
Because if I had allowed my circumstances in 2022 or 2023 to dictate the rest of my life, MoraVilla might not exist today.
Iโm proud of what weโve built, grateful for everyone who helped us survive, and excited about the woman and leader Iโm still becoming.
Never make a permanent decision based on a temporary season. โค๏ธ
Hereโs to the next chapter! ๐ฅ
