I love being a REALTOR®. I love the excitement of handing keys over to first-time home buyers and watching as they open the door to their home for the first time. I love seeing the joy on the faces of sellers, who are ready to move on to the next chapter in their lives, when that SOLD sign goes up. I love listening to my clients’ stories, some funny and some tragic. It’s when I’m listening to them talk that I become aware of the trust and confidence they have gifted me. It’s then that I become aware that I have made new friends. Don’t get me wrong, I am thrilled on closing days when I get a commission check. But, to me, it’s much more than that. For me, it’s about being there for others during one of the most important times in their lives. For me, it’s about the relationship, not the sale.
