This week at SYG Law Firm, Inc., we turned our attention to filing numerous federal complaints against immigration agencies for delays, unlawful decisions, and other violations of federal policies. Our office has a proven track record of resolving issues with minimal judicial intervention.
When an immigration benefit is unlawfully withheld or unreasonably delayed, a federal complaint filed with the appropriate district court can often provide the movement you need within 60 days. Seeking this "judicial intervention" is often effective. Appropriate issues might include a long outstanding petition for a family member, a decision on a case that has been pending for months after you conducted your interview, getting out from being stuck in a loop of unnecessary requests for additional evidence, getting a visa interview scheduled abroad after years of waiting, or other problems.
If you or a family member have experienced delays or what you believe to be unlawful decisions from USCIS or the State Department, contact our office at (951) 595-7127 or at [email protected] for more information.
