Don’t let the headlines about 7% interest rates scare you. Higher rates can mean less buyer competition, giving buyers more room to negotiate things like purchase price, seller credits, closing costs, or even a rate buydown.

And sellers, there’s positive news for you too! Serious buyers are still out there looking for the right home. 🔑

I love the saying, “You marry the house, but you date the rate.” The important thing is finding a home you love AND a payment that works for you today. If rates come down in the future, refinancing may be an option depending on your individual situation.
