MEET ADOPTABLE TENZIN!

Tenzin (A522430) is a 2 year old male Husky mix. We spent time outside in the play yard yesterday and he didn’t mind the rain one bit! Tenzin was perfectly content entertaining himself with toys, tossing them in the air and running from one end to the other. He enjoyed playing fetch and returning to me for pets and attention.

Tenzin already knows a couple commands such as “sit” and “paw” and takes treats very politely. He loves to know that he’s a good boy. He would be a blast to continue training which would help to develop an even stronger bond with his new family. Tenzin would love a forever home where he can go on adventures, whether that’s a nice long walk in the neighborhood or to the mountains for a hike.

Look at that happy face. Gordon doesn't know that all of the other dogs who were available when this picture was taken have all been adopted - again - while he remains available. He doesn't know that new dogs keep cycling in from the shelter and out into forever homes over and over while no one even inquires about him. We just keep loving him and promising we are doing our best to find his forever home.

Gordon is blind, but his blindness doesn't keep him from doing normal dog things. He likes to go for walks. He likes to go on adventures (like to play in water as pictured). He likes to snuggle and have books read to him. He's well mannered, housebroken, and crate trained. The only special need he has is to be an only dog. That's not so different from a lot of other dogs, so why isn't anyone picking him to be their dog?
