It was a great week of learning, connecting with colleagues, and contributing to the program. We were proud to see Brent Steinberg and Brenna Spinner share their knowledge as presenters, and to celebrate Brent Steinberg and Dale Swope for their well-deserved recognitions during the convention.

Congratulations to Brent Steinberg on receiving the 2026 Bronze EAGLE Award from the Florida Justice Association.

This award recognizes FJA members who have gone above and beyond in supporting the organization’s advocacy efforts and its work to protect access to justice for Floridians.

Anyone who knows Brent knows how much time and energy he dedicates to both his clients and the broader legal community. We are fortunate to have him at Swope, Rodante and pleased to see that commitment recognized by the FJA.

Great job by Brenna Spinner this morning at the Florida Justice Association Annual Convention.

Along with co-presenter Dimitri Peteves, Brenna helped deliver a case law update covering many of the most significant Florida decisions from the past year. The presentation touched on a wide range of issues affecting trial lawyers, including insurance bad faith, sovereign immunity, punitive damages, premises liability, expert testimony, and ethics issues.

There was a lot of valuable information packed into a relatively short presentation, and attendees walked away with a strong overview of recent developments in Florida law.

Congratulations to our Managing Partner, Dale Swope, on receiving the Florida Justice Association’s prestigious Excalibur Eagle Award.

This honor recognizes attorneys whose extraordinary commitment and lifetime contributions to the FJA Eagle Program have helped preserve and protect Florida’s civil justice system. As part of this recognition, Dale was presented with a custom portrait that will be displayed at FJA Headquarters alongside other Excalibur Eagle recipients.

We are incredibly proud of Dale and grateful for his leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to fighting for those who need a voice.
