What started as a last-minute ticket giveaway turned into something so much more meaningful.

When John was randomly selected as the winner of our four Tampa Bay Sun FC tickets, we had no idea just how special this game would be for his family.

John shared that his wife, Brenda, is a breast cancer survivor, making Saturday’s Rising for a Cure game especially meaningful to them.

Out of everyone who entered, the tickets found their way to a family with such a personal connection to the cause. Sometimes things just have a way of working out perfectly.

John and Brenda, thank you for sharing your story and these photos with us. We’re so happy your family got to enjoy this experience! 💛💛

Sunday’s Tampa Bay Sun match brought soccer and Hispanic Heritage Night together at Riverfront Stadium.

Karina Perez Ilić and her family were there to cheer on the Sun as they faced Lexington SC for Match 6 of the season. The match ended in a 1–1 draw.
