Judy Karniewicz was born and raised in rural Virginia and attended the University of Virginia prior to attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she graduated cm laude. Judy returned to the University of Florida, following her admission to the Florida Bar, and obtained her master’s in Taxation Law. She is currently a member of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and was one of

two recipients of a Fellowship award from the Tax Section for 2009 and 2010. Judy focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and business law, estate planning, estate administration, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and taxation. In 2007, Judy was named CVCC’s Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. In addition to providing legal services, Judy commits a portion of her time each year to supporting not-for-profit organizations by providing pro bono services.

We are a busy crew here at TKLG so don’t mind the casual lunch celebration of a very important date - today we are cheering seventeen years of existence for The Karniewicz Law Group! I showed up in my post work soccer kids clothes and we had too much going on to leave and we are missing a few employees who are off handling their own lives. But it makes me smile knowing this is exactly what I wanted when I started my firm: a group of loyal employees who have been with me for years, most from the very beginning, making the practice of law as entertaining as we can while balancing our families and lives in the process. Congratulations 🍾 we have been more successful than I even dreamed when I started this place with my first of three babies on my hip (who happens to be 17 now and wants to go to law school)!
