Cantrell Schuette secured a $200,000 recovery for a client with a claim under the Florida Private Whistleblower Act.
The Florida Private Whistleblower Act protects employees who object to or refuse to participate in employer conduct they reasonably believe violates the law. Retaliation for whistleblowing — including termination, demotion, or other adverse action — can give rise to significant legal claims.
