EB2-NIW: You May Not Need an Employer Sponsor
Many talented professionals believe they need a U.S. employer to sponsor them for a green card.
But for some people, the EB2 National Interest Waiver, often called EB2-NIW, may offer another path.
This option may be available to professionals whose work has strong value to the United States. That may include people in fields like science, healthcare, technology, education, business, research, engineering, public health, and more.
The key question is not just, “Are you successful?” It is also, “Does your work matter beyond your own career?”
A strong EB2-NIW case may include evidence of your education, experience, achievements, publications, projects, business impact, expert letters, media recognition, or proof that your work serves an important national interest.
This is not about bragging. It is about telling your story clearly and backing it up with evidence.
