Mosholder Realty Real Estate Professionals serving buyers, sellers, investors and more. Mosholder Realty, Inc. was founded by Joe Mosholder in 1964. Development.

Be sure to contact us for any real estate need in Summit, Portage and Stark county in Ohio. Joe, a lifetime Tallmadge resident, opened Mosholder Realty at 71 West Avenue in Tallmadge, behind the restaurant currently known as Delanie's. Mosholder Realty remained and expanded at that location until it outgrew the facility. In November 2004, the company moved to it's present location at 10 Northwest Avenue. The new office is now home to Mosholder Realty, Homes by Mosholder, and D.B. Bill Mosholder, Joe's son, joined Mosholder Realty in 1976, and has been it's broker/owner since 1981. Meeting the real estate needs of the Tallmadge community and the surrounding area has been the primary goal of Mosholder Realty. The principles of hard work, honesty, integrity, and professionalism were the foundation on which Mosholder Realty was built and the foundation on which it is run today. Since the mid 1980's, Mosholder Realty has been involved with all facets of construction: renovations, additions, and new home construction of homes and offices. The construction division, now known as Homes by Mosholder, built its first home in 1983. That company has built a reputation of a quality custom home builder. The homes are all custom designed by Joe Viscomi, who is the draftsman/project coordinator. Joe is a third generation construction tradesman, who has been in the business since 1977. Starting in the 1990's, Mosholder has started new developments in Tallmadge- bringing to the community: Oak Grove Village Condominiums, Heritage Commons Office Condos, and Stonegate Reserve custom homes with condo conveniences. We believe in Tallmadge and are proud to invest in the development of our community. The slogan is "The People Caring Company Since 1964" and after forty years it still proves true.

How to Compare Homes With Different Strengths and Tradeoffs
Sometimes the hardest choice isn't between a home you love and one you don't. It's between two homes that both work, just in completely different ways.
One may have the location you wanted but less storage. Another might have an extra bedroom but need more updating. You may prefer the yard at one property...

Two homes can be appealing for very different reasons. Compare their strengths, compromises, and long-term fit before deciding which works better.

Getting Your Home Ready for an Autumn Listing
Getting a home ready to sell in autumn isn't about filling the porch with pumpkins or making every room look seasonal. The more useful preparation happens in the background.
Days may be getting shorter. Leaves and debris show up faster outside. Heating and cooling needs can change from one week to the...

An autumn listing comes with its own practical details. Prepare your home for changing light, cooler weather, and the way buyers experience it.

Easy Ways to Make Darker Rooms Feel Brighter
Some rooms seem darker no matter how many times you turn on the lights. Maybe the windows face the wrong direction for strong daylight. A covered porch, nearby trees, or another part of the house may block some of the sun.
You can't always change where the natural light comes from, but you can make...

Dark rooms don't always need a major renovation. Try practical lighting, color, and layout changes that can help your home feel brighter.

Making Sense of Seasonal Changes in the Housing Market
Real estate activity tends to shift throughout the year, but that doesn't mean there's one season when everyone should buy. More homes may come on the market during certain months, while other times of year bring fewer listings and different levels of buyer competition.
Those changes are worth noticing....

Housing markets don't behave the same way all year. Learn what seasonal changes can mean for buyers without letting the calendar drive your decision.

Making an Entryway Work Better for Everyday Life
The entryway handles more traffic than its size might suggest. Shoes collect near the door, bags get dropped on the nearest surface, mail gets carried in, and coats need somewhere to go.
When that space isn't working well, the clutter tends to spread into nearby rooms. A few changes can make the entry...

A busy entryway can become cluttered quickly when everyday items don't have a place to go. Simple storage and layout changes can make the space easier to use.
