So much going on!

Been a hectic week: the 16th Budapest Pre-Moot was great, and the team argued 4 rounds and showed their skills across the table, arbitrating numerous rounds. Then off to Vienna to begin the 33rd Vis Moot!

Day 1 and 2 showed what this group is made of, as they argued against teams from Argentina and Turkey! Representing FSU in the best way and rocking arguments! (With the support of amazing FSU Vis alums, Carrie and Natalia!)

On to days 3 and 4 and arguments against teams from Japan and Estonia! Go 'Noles!

4 days of preliminary rounds in Vienna are in the books! While the team did not advance to the top 64 (of nearly 400), there were so many good rounds and arguments.

The 7-month journey of late nights, research, writing, travel, and pre-moots may be at an end. And thoughts of arbitral jurisdiction, choice of law, illegally obtained evidence, attorney-client privilege, settlement privilege, preponderance of services, internationality, reverse auctions, and implicit exclusions may pass. But the pride and perseverence in fighting through it all and showcasing all the effort will last a lifetime!

Opening ceremonies and GREAT first round against a Turkish team! Vienna begins--and is off to a bang-up beginning! Many thanks to alums Michael Hoffman, Natalia Ninčević, and Robin Rodriguez for not only virtually arbitrating and assisting the team, but for coming to Vienna to arbitrate and support the team!

Round 2 versus Brazil tomorrow.

Budapest is in the books, with great rounds against teams from Mexico, France, Australia, and India. And the team got the chance to sit on the other side of the table and act as arbitrators--definitely different on "the other side of the table." Crazy whirlwind of running around the city to the different venues, arguing, and arbitrating--all the while experiencing the city and networking with the other teams and attorneys!

It's Vienna time now! Updates on Vienna to follow!
