I got to tour the Construction site for the new Proper Hotels resort at the site of the original Cal Neva hotel. What a magnificent property this will be! A Kelly Wearstler project, this place is going to be GORGEOUS. A wellness center, restaurant, casino à la Monte Carlo, lakeside pools, members only spaces with an incredible private party room, their performance auditorium which Sinatra originally had built, private villas and cabins, the list goes on. This will be state of the art and world class.

Some fun facts you might not know about me:
I was an English lit major Uc Berkeley.
My grandfather was an architect.
My mother was a Graphic Designer and is an art teacher.
I love art and design and the way it is manifested in a functional way through interior design.
Any new bookstore in town has captured my heart. It is in a space but I've always adored and been drawn to with it brutalist interior aesthetic, which has now been beautifully curated and warmed by Annie's bookstore. Stop on by!

A beautiful dining experience at SAVOIE last night for their soft opening launch dinner service! The restaurant officially opens July 1 and we are so excited for them! Not pictured: the beautiful interior complete with gorgeous bar, and a playful bathroom finishes.

LAKE TAHOE FUN FACTS, things to our friends over at the Tahoe Fund.
According to the USGS, Lake Tahoe is only 6 inches from being full! For perspective, we hit this level on June 9, last year. Thanks to all the recent rain and snow, Tahoe is getting a serious refill.
