Just a few more days to request an absentee ballot! The benefit of an absentee ballot? You can research the candidates in the comfort of your own home. Forgot to research an issue? An absentee ballot gives you the opportunity to make sure you understand the issue & make an educated vote. October 21st is the last day to request an absentee ballot.

In Oklahoma, any registered voter can request to get a ballot by mail. Use the Oklahoma voter portal or fill out the mail ballot application and mail or return it in person to your local election office.

How do I return my ballot?
*Read the instructions carefully on how to mark and return your ballot.
*You can return your ballot by mail or by hand-delivery to your local election office.
*If you hand-deliver your absentee ballot, it must be received no later than close of business the Monday before Election Day. You must return it yourself, and you must show proof of ID upon delivery.
*If you choose to return your ballot by mail, the United States Postal Service (USPS) recommends that voters mail their completed ballots at least one week before the due date. Find a USPS location near you.

I have been asked for clarification on the straight party voting issue.

I am running as an Independent candidate for State Senate District 3. In my district, there is no candidate running for the Democrats. A Republican straight party vote will be a vote for my opponent. However since there is no candidate for the Democratic party, a Democrat's straight party vote has no candidate in my district to receive the vote. A straight party vote cannot go to an Independent candidate...essentially in my district, this vote will have zero impact, acting as a throw away vote.

For the state section on the ballot. Individuals must mark their ballot for individual candidates to cast a vote for District 3 State Senate.
If there is additional clarification needed, please let me know.

PLEASE spread the word! Straight party voting could easily cost my campaign the election.

I need EVERYONE'S help! I now know I will be against Julie McIntosh on the Nov 5th ballot for State Senate District 3.

I cannot conscientiously compete with the amount of money being dumped into her campaign.

Please REPOST & SHARE with as many as possible my website & page! If you are so inclined to donate as well, it would be greatly appreciated!
