Julie Collison, a local Tacoma native, is the owner and designated broker of Collison Realty LLC. She has a proven track record of helping people realize their goals of wealth through real estate. Driven by a caring attitude, she believes in helping to make the world a better place by giving back to her community with the heart of a teacher. Once you work with Julie, you become like a member of th

e family and she will be your friend for life in the real estate business! Julie’s favorite project was assisting the Franklin Pierce School District in acquiring 9 properties, in order to grow their district "footprint" and rebuild their older schools. Julie’s passion for real estate can be traced back to her childhood when her folks owned a real estate company, South Pine Realty, and her mom, Ellen Keller, was the designated broker. She always knew one day she wanted to help people with their real estate goals, just like her mom. She has a background in Title insurance as well as Mortgage lending, giving her the Knowledge and Experience needed in the real estate business. She and her late husband, Pat, purchased Collison Realty from his folks in 1989. Pat died in 2005 and Julie has been single handedly running the company ever since. Julie has been recognized by the Tacoma Pierce County Women’s Council of Realtors by winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2010. She was recognized by her local community by receiving the very first Rich Palladino Franklin Pierce Youth First Shooting Star Award. She has also been featured in the Parkland Ruralite and the Washington Realtors RE magazines. Community service is important to Julie and she is on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Parkland Spanaway, the Franklin Pierce Foundation, Lincoln High School Alumni Association and the Garfield Business Street Association. She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Realtors and serves on the Tacoma Pierce County Association of Realtors Grievance Committee; Women's Council of Realtors; the National Association of Residential Property Managers.By Referral Only; and Keeping Current Matters. Julie has designations and certifications as follows: MCNE Master Certified Negotiation Expert; CSR Certified Seller Representative; ASR Accredited Seller Representative. GRI Graduate, Realtor Institute; SFR Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource; and GREEN. Julie has a commitment to being a life-long learner and reads several books a month with an emphasis on real estate, law and productivity, in order to hone her skills so she may better help her clients. Julie believes so much that real estate is the key to wealth, that she owns five properties of her own. Julie’s hobbies are reading, yoga, paddle boarding, hikes and exploring the forest for mushrooms and other cool things that nature has to share. Jesse is a Licensed General Contractor, focusing on building affordable homes for the Pierce and Thurston County Markets.
