PLEASE SHARE: Someone may know what happened on this Auburn roadway.
On July 21, a motorcyclist’s life changed in an instant.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., a serious motorcycle crash occurred near SE 384th St and 160th Pl SE in Auburn.
At the time of the crash, there was reportedly a significant amount of oil or another slippery substance on the roadway.
What may have looked like a spill on the pavement became the beginning of a devastating ordeal for one local family.
The rider suffered catastrophic injuries and has spent weeks fighting through an extraordinarily difficult medical crisis. His family has watched someone they love endure intensive care, procedures, setbacks, and a long, uncertain road toward recovery.
Now, they need answers.
Where did the substance on the roadway come from?
Someone may have seen it before the crash. Someone may remember a leaking vehicle, truck, piece of equipment, or something unusual in the area. A nearby resident or business may even have security, doorbell, or dash-camera footage from that afternoon.
A detail that seems insignificant to you could be the missing piece this family has been searching for.
We are asking our friends, followers, and the Auburn community to please share this post.
We would especially like to hear from anyone who, on or around July 21, 2026, near SE 384th St and 160th Pl SE:

• Saw a vehicle leaking or spilling something in the area
• Witnessed the motorcycle crash or events leading up to it
• Has dashcam, security, or doorbell footage from the area
• Remembers anything unusual that could help identify how the roadway became hazardous
You don't need to know exactly what happened. We are simply asking anyone with firsthand information to come forward.
This family has already been through more than most of us can imagine. They deserve every opportunity to understand what happened that afternoon.
Please share. The right person may be only one share away.
