Peter Thiel, one of Trump’s most influential billionaire backers, is now offering a damning assessment of Trump and his regime.

Thiel says Trump was “crazier than I thought” and “more dangerous than I thought.” In a recent interview, he added that Trump’s current administration is staffed by “not very smart but very loyal people” and said he wished they had appointed “more competent people.”

Those comments carry added weight coming from Thiel, who became one of the most prominent figures in the MAGA-aligned Silicon Valley political world.

Quite a warning from someone who once helped put Trump in power.
