All,
I was diagnosed with COVID over the weekend. I am symptomatic and have been recuperating at home, working intermittently. The virus has managed to impact other members of my household as well.

I appreciate your patience this week as I try to return calls and emails, draft documents, and manage cases as quickly and efficiently as I can, given the state my household is in at the moment.

Elena joined our office last month, but we’ve been so busy growing I haven’t had a chance to tell you all about her!

Elena is a second-year law student at the Charleston School of Law and excited to learn more about Family Law after spending time in Family Court this summer as part of the JOE Program in Beaufort County. She has a degree in Sport and Recreation Management and is a proud alum of Temple University.

Here’s some fun facts about Elena-
1. An avid sports lover growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Elena is a die hard Mets fan which her family still does not understand.
2. Although she only has one cat, Elena considers herself a crazy cat lady and world’s best cat mom to her calico cat, Kia.
3. Before entering law school, Elena spent 4 years in the sport industry working in sales in MiLB for the Columbia Fireflies and in college athletics for Florida State. You can now find her on game days working with the South Carolina Stingrays!

We’re glad Elena’s joined the team and can’t wait to see how she grows and flourishes in the future.
