There’s a whole lot more to a beautiful home than the parts you can see. 👀

Recently spent the morning at my 244 Oak Street listing with my colleague Ken Bailey and some of my fellow Gove Group agents getting into the details that don’t exactly make the listing photos — mechanicals, electrical, insulation, systems, and all the behind-the-walls pieces that go into building a home from the ground up.

I love the pretty stuff, obviously. But knowing what’s behind it? That’s the good stuff. 🖤

𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

A farmhouse with some presence.
A cape that doesn’t need to be huge to be good.
A ranch that makes one-level living look pretty damn appealing.

Three completely different personalities taking shape in one seriously beautiful corner of Barrington.

The mums. The pumpkins. The first hints of fall color. I had to stop for a picture because she’s looking pretty damn cute these days.

And somehow, tucked into all of this, there are still 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 🤎

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮: 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 & 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. ⚡️

My New York clients were back in NH for electrical walkthrough day at The Cliffs at Evergreen—and this is such a fun stage to experience with them.

There’s something about standing inside the framing and deciding where life is actually going to happen. Where the lamps will go. Where you’ll plug in the coffee maker. Where the TV will live. Where you’ll flip on the lights when you walk through the door.

Tiny decisions on paper. Pretty important ones when it’s your home.

And these two make it especially fun. Their excitement is completely infectious, and every time they come up, I leave just as excited about this house as they are.

A little extra love for Jess with Chinburg, their Project Manager, who has been keeping them connected from New York with progress photos along the way. Building from a few states away isn’t always easy, but getting to watch it take shape piece by piece makes the distance feel a whole lot smaller.

And just like that, waterfront property has a whole new list of disclosures. 🦈😂

A flooded street on the Jersey Shore had an unexpected visitor over the weekend: a shark. Click the link in the first comment for the full story ⬇️

If it feels like I’ve been in full-blown launch mode lately… I have. 😂

New developments. New launches. A whole lot of work getting them off the ground — and there’s one more I’ve been waiting to properly introduce.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵.

But we’re not starting with a traditional open house.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀. 🔨

See a Chinburg home while it’s actually being built. See what happens before the drywall goes up. Ask questions. Get a look at the details you don’t normally get to see — and learn how it all comes together.

This Sunday is our first open house at Bergamot Fields — and we’re kicking things off during one of my favorite weekends of the year, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. 🍂

So come see what I’ve been working on.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀.

The kind of place where Saturday starts with coffee and somehow turns into everyone still being outside when the sun goes down.

Where the grill gets fired up, the kids have room to roam, the fire keeps everyone outside a little longer, and movie night is just a flight of stairs away.

Where fall doesn’t feel like the end of summer.

It feels like the house is just getting started.

That’s the kind of weekend waiting at 𝟒𝟗 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲.

Nearly three private acres. A pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, home theater, workout space, sauna and barn—all wrapped into a home designed for the kind of days you wish lasted a little longer.
