Nick Brown Law Firm PC will cease operations on 8/11/2022 and permanently close the office on September 15, 2022. Clients of the firm should be receiving notification of the closure, as well information about the transfer of legal files.

While we are sad to leave the Storm Lake community, my family and I look forward to pursuing new opportunities in Sioux Falls. Thank you for your trust and patronage over the years.

It might seem like these tips could go without saying, but a quick reminder can help keep this holiday safe!

1. Never give fireworks to small children. Fireworks should be handled by adults, and children should be supervised, even with items like sparklers.

2. Never throw or point a firework toward people, animals, vehicles, structures or flammable materials.

3. Always follow the instructions on the packaging.

4. Keep a supply of water close by as a precaution.

5. Make sure the person lighting fireworks always wears eye protection.

6. Light only one firework at a time and never attempt to relight “a dud.” If it doesn’t go off, leave it be!

7. Store fireworks in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.

8. Be sure to check your community’s guidelines for fireworks and any restrictions on days and times.
