Last week Partner Brett Jolley, with assistance from Of Counsel Mark Myles, represented clients in securing approval from the Ceres City Council for a controversial mixed use development project that includes 145 needed market rate apartments.

Last month, partner Brett Jolley represented clients in obtaining unanimous approval from the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors for the development of a hospital campus emphasizing women’s health services located on West Lane just north of Eight Mile Road.

We are pleased to announce that J. Mark Myles has joined our firm as of counsel. Mark retired from his nearly eight year tenure as San Joaquin County Counsel in September of this year. An Air Force veteran, Mark graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law before spending several years in private practice handling business litigation matters in California and Nevada. He joined the office of the County Counsel in 2005 where he continued to practice litigation, as well as employment, land use, water, and other areas of law affecting public agencies. Mark is a certified workplace investigator and will practice in the areas of employment, land use, public agency, and litigation.
