Common Mistakes People Make:
1. Believing that you are too poor to need a will.
(a) Even if you have no assets now, your estate could be very
substantial if you were to be involved in an accident.
(b) If you have children under 18, you need a will.

2. If you buy Real Estate with another person. Always add Joint
Tenants on the Deed or Quick Claim Deed.

3. Make a will to name a Guardian or Trustee for your children.

4. Always sign a Prenuptial agreement or living trust before a
second marriage. To protect your assets.

5. You should always have a Healthcare Power of Attorney.

Tips to protect your identity
1. Reconcile your bank and credit cards statements monthly.

2. Check your credit report at least twice a year.

3. Do not give out information: Re: Checking account, Credit Card or Social Security Numbers.

4. Shred all documents containing personal information.

5. If you think your a victim of Idenity Theft, call the police.

Here's some information... Some of us might need to know.

Facts about the REPO Man or Women...

1. He or She is not in the business to hear your problems. So don't expect a break. Read your contract. If the contract does not stipulate a grace period, then the car can be repossessed.

2. Even if you're current on your payments, a car can be repossessed for not having insurance on the car.

3. A Repo Person can go onto private property to get a vehicle, but they can not access your garage or a private building without the property owner's permission.

4. If you think there's any chance that your vehicle could be repossessed, remove all your personal belongings and your childrens from the car each night. The agency will charge you to recover your personal items. Again, they are not your friend.
