Hi! It’s Shannon! What have we been up to the last month or so? THIS! Some real beauties of all types, and helping some of the most lovely people out there. We appreciate you!

What a wrap to the Spring/Summer season. We have seriously rocked it if I do say so myself, and have been all over the place. Part of the fun, for sure.

The most common question right now is, what is going on in this market? Answer? IT’S WEIRD! Will write something up this week, or maybe do a video.

But let’s just say that if you are thinking about selling or buying, you need to be thinking about experience. We can only control what we can control, but having some time in the business helps a ton.

All of us at BRFP have many years (am I old enough to really say decades?) in this business, and it’s like riding waves. Shifts in the macro, and more crazy micro situations than we can list. These are big market shifts, changes in lending, industry specs and norms.

Some wacky people as well - one recently who thought he could scream the F word at me at the top of his lungs several times because he was having feelings. (No, sir! Not happening, I’m at work and that is not in the business plan yiiiiikes 😬 )

All of this to say that we are full-time professionals who are in this business pretty much all day every day. If it is manageable by a person, we know how to do it. We have seen a LOT! Most of it is pretty great, I should reiterate!

So please don’t give up on the idea of buying because interest rates are up. I have seen them higher! And please don’t give up on thinking about selling because we have seen much more glutted markets. We have strategies! It’s a chat to see if it is the right time, is all.

This is how we feel! It's always a work in progress, cluttered here and there. Maybe some pup hair, dishes in the sink for a bit. That's life! The journey is the destination, right?

Home is such a special place, and we get to help so many folks make spaces home. We are so grateful!

Remember to love our homes just as they are, too, you know? "Outdated" is just fine. Home is beautiful just as it is, too. 🤩
