Starkville, we’d love to introduce ourselves.

This is our family, the heart behind The Linden Guild Marketplace.

I’m Tabitha: wife, mother, regenerative farmer, herbalist, and the owner of LGM. Our days are full of milking cows, tending to the farm, studying nutrition, and building something we believe deeply in.

The Linden Guild wasn’t created just to open another store.

It was created because we believe community farming matters.
We believe small businesses matter.
We believe local families matter.

We wanted a place in Starkville where you can walk in and know:

• Who raised your beef, pork, and chicken
• Where your eggs and milk came from
• Who made your soap, kitchen goods, honey, jellies, peanut butter and produce
• That your dollars are strengthening local families and farms

The idea for LGM grew from years of farming, studying nutrition, and seeing firsthand how powerful real food and strong community can be.

The Linden tree symbolizes shelter, gathering, and healing and that’s our hope for this space. A place where people gather around good food, good products, and shared vision for a sustainable economy!

As our first week comes to an end;
We’re grateful to serve this town!
I am happy to see you walk through our door!
We’re excited about the new improvements on main street including the beautiful sidewalks!

Thank you for supporting local families, agriculture and small businesses. It truly makes a difference.

Thank you for your service Joe! You will always be remembered but greatly missed!

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Joe Morse, a valued member of our team and an Oktibbeha County Court Bailiff. The Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to his family during this incredibly difficult time.

Joe was a U.S. Navy Veteran and dedicated over 30 years of loyal service to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department as a part-time deputy, part-time transport officer and most recently, until his untimely death, a court bailiff.

The arrangements for Mr. Morse are as follows: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM.
