Honoring the Life and Legacy of Curt Maddox
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Curt Maddox, our Chief Technology Officer and a cherished member of our company family for 26 years.
For more than two decades, Curt's dedication, expertise, and steady leadership helped shape our company into what it is today. As Chief Technology Officer, he was instrumental in guiding our technology initiatives and embracing innovation, but his impact reached far beyond the technology he managed. Curt was a trusted colleague, a mentor to many, and someone whose knowledge, patience, and willingness to help others earned the respect and admiration of everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
Curt had a gift for making technology feel less intimidating and for always being there when someone needed help. Whether it was helping a coworker get logged in after a forgotten password, figuring out why a monitor was not turned on, troubleshooting a document that did not scan correctly, or solving one of the many everyday challenges that came up, Curt was always willing to step in and lend a hand. He never made anyone feel like their question was too small. And, true to Curt’s personality, he usually had a smart off-the-cuff joke or playful comment to go along with the solution, leaving people smiling as much as they were helped.
Anyone who worked with Curt also knew his playful side. He had a way of giving his coworkers a hard time—but always in good fun. His humor, quick wit, and ability to make people laugh brought a special energy to our workplace. Those moments of laughter and friendship are among the many things that will be missed.
Over his 26 years with the company, Curt witnessed and contributed to countless milestones. Through every challenge and every success, he remained committed to our mission and to the people around him. His quiet leadership, generosity, and genuine care for his coworkers created a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire us.
Outside of work, Curt was a devoted husband, father, and dog dad. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lisa; their three sons, Camden, Jayden, and Ashden; and their faithful dog, Bolt. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with them as they navigate this tremendous loss.
Curt will be deeply missed, but his influence will remain woven into the foundation of our company and the lives of those who knew him. We are profoundly grateful for Curt’s 26 years of service, friendship, humor, and kindness. His legacy will always be a part of our company, and he will be remembered with gratitude, respect, and a smile.
