Recipe of the Week: Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Bites
These bite-sized pieces of salmon are seared until crisp and then tossed in a sticky, sweet, and savory glaze. They’re perfect over a bed of rice or with a side of roasted asparagus!
Ingredients:
1 lb Salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes)
2 tbsp Olive oil
1/4 cup Honey
2 tbsp Soy sauce (or liquid aminos)
1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Smoked paprika
Garnish: Toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions
Instructions
Season the Salmon: In a bowl, toss your salmon cubes with salt, pepper, and the smoked paprika.
Sear to Perfection: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.
Make the Glaze: In the same skillet, turn the heat down to medium and add the garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then pour in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
Thicken & Toss: Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly. Add the salmon bites back into the pan and toss gently to coat every piece in that glossy glaze.
Serve: Plate them up immediately and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
Pro Tip: If you want a bit of heat, add a teaspoon of chili flakes or a squeeze of Sriracha to the glaze while it's simmering!
